As I look at all the names; I wonder who they were, and what they would
be doing today. They are brothers, sons and fathers, sisters and daughters
to us all. And we keep their memory strong At The Wall.
There were those who fought beside you. You were there, and saw them
fall. In your heart their more than just a name engraved upon the wall. In
the jungles of that far-off land, they died to set men free. And the wall
is here to remind us that they died for you and me.
And they're more than just a name on a wall. They were loved ones and
best friends. And their lives have touched us all. They are brothers, sons
and fathers, sisters and daughters to us all. And even though they're
gone….we'll keep their memory strong At The Wall.
And they're more than just a name on the wall. They were loved ones
and best friends. And their lives have touched us all. In the jungles of
that far-off land, they died to set men free. And their names are there to
remind us. This wall reminds us. It will always remind us of how they died
for you and me. In the land called 'Vietnam'.
It says in the word of God: 'No greater love has one for another, than
that they would lay down their life for a brother'. And that's what all of
these men and women did while serving in that land called 'Vietnam'.
